Michael Lavin Flower has made the Berkshires his home since 1983. He has operated as a freelance commercial photographer and educator while pursuing his passion as an artist exploring spatial, social and political themes with his photography. His affinity and respect for artists, regardless of discipline, has allowed him to collaborate on many projects while faithfully reproducing giclée editions and providing images for Internet and printed publications. While product, editorial, social event, portraiture and public relations photography have been the foundation of his business, Michael’s passion for architecture has kept him working with landscape architects, interior designers, architectural firms, engineers, construction companies, real estate agencies and private homeowners for more than two decades. His ability to accurately describe new environments, materials, spatial relationships, form and function in man made and natural environments has allowed him to include award winning internationally recognized and published clientele. Michael’s intuitive marketing and design sensibilities have garnered him accounts consulting and creating advertising campaigns for many commercial accounts branding their image.
